Subsoiler Leg Options

Heavy-Duty Subsoiler Leg: Excels in heavy soils down to 500mm and in conditions requiring deeper loosening. Low Draft Leg: Ideally suited for minimum disturbance work. Material: Both leg options are made from high-grade Hardox steel, with the subsoiler tine at 20mm thickness and the low draft leg at 15mm thickness. Design and Flexibility: Adjustable Leg Spacing: Legs are set at 500mm spacing as standard, but adjustable leg spacing is easy due to the frame design. Rigid Brackets: An option allowing greater accuracy for oilseed rape establishment. The ALTERNATOR also features TWB's Shear Tab System: Unique to TWB Subsoiler legs, this system enhances durability by protecting against overload.

Disc System

Two Rows of 500mm Diameter Cutaway Discs: Capable of cutting, turning, and leveling the ground in front of the subsoiler legs, providing a tilth suitable for drilling directly into. Hydraulic and Manual Adjustability: Discs are hydraulically adjustable on the move for depth and can also be manually adjusted on a parallel linkage for progressive cultivation. Mounting: Mounted on heavy-duty 100mm box section frames with 50mm rubber suspension rods suitable for primary cultivation, with proven quality hubs and bearings allowing a 600mm disc as an added option.

Mounting Options

Swiveling Linkage Mounting: Capable of turning to tight angles, exceptionally useful on field headlands, also allowing some draft control and further depth control. Ring Hitch Style Drawbar: Available as an option.

Packer System

800mm Shouldered Ring Packer: Leaves the soil level and consolidated in a weatherproof finish ready to drill into. Depth Adjustment: The working depth of the Terminator is adjusted on the drawbar and depth gauges of the packer by the simple TWB pin and gauge depth control. Scraper System: The low down scraper position and scraper blade adjustment ensure the shouldered ring packer keeps turning for longer.
